01Who we are
1.1Stacknify is a technology services organisation that designs and builds software, AI, and digital growth systems for businesses. For privacy enquiries, the controller of personal information collected through this website is Stacknify.
1.2You may contact us at info@stacknify.com. If a business address is published on the website or in a statement of work, that address is our correspondence address for that engagement.
02Scope
2.1This policy applies to personal information we collect:
- When you browse or interact with our website
- When you submit the contact or enquiry form
- When you email, call, or message us about a project
- When we perform contracted professional services for a client organisation
2.2Client systems we build or host under a separate agreement are governed by that agreement and any data processing terms agreed in writing. This website policy does not replace a statement of work, master services agreement, or data processing addendum.
03Information we collect
3.1We collect only what we need to respond to you and to operate the business.
3.2Information you provide. Through the enquiry form or direct correspondence this may include your name, email address, telephone number, company name, selected service, indicative budget, and project details. Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, or special-category data in the form.
3.3Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, our hosting provider and security tools may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. If Cloudflare Turnstile or a similar bot-protection service is enabled on the form, that provider may process a verification token and limited device signals to distinguish people from automated abuse.
3.4Analytics. If privacy-conscious analytics (for example Plausible, Umami, or Fathom) are configured, we may receive aggregated usage statistics. Those tools are selected to avoid advertising cookies and unnecessary cross-site tracking. If analytics are not configured, we do not run a marketing pixel on this site.
04How we use information
4.1We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and assess whether we can take on the work
- Prepare proposals, statements of work, and project communications
- Deliver, support, and invoice professional services where we have a contract
- Operate, secure, and improve the website, including preventing spam and abuse
- Comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations
- Protect our rights, users, and infrastructure
4.2We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry data to train public AI models. We do not send marketing newsletters unless you have asked to receive them.
05Legal bases
5.1Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract or steps at your request before a contract; legitimate interests in operating an IT services business, securing the website, and responding to professional enquiries; consent where we ask for it (for example optional analytics or marketing); and legal obligation where we must retain records. For individuals in India, we process digital personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules, including purpose limitation and security safeguards.
07International processing
7.1Our team, hosting, and email providers may process information in India and in other countries where those providers operate. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps appropriate to the risk and to applicable law, including contractual safeguards with processors.
08Retention
8.1Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months if we do not enter a contract), unless a longer period is required for disputes, tax, or legal compliance. Contract, invoice, and project records are retained for the life of the engagement and for the statutory period that applies to commercial and tax records in India. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.
09Security
9.1We implement administrative, technical, and organisational measures appropriate to an IT services organisation, including HTTPS, access control to business systems, rate limiting and bot protection on the public form, and least-privilege handling of enquiry mail. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You should not send highly sensitive credentials through the public website form.
11Your rights
11.1Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, withdrawal of consent where processing is consent-based, and information about how we use your data. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.
11.2To exercise rights, email info@stacknify.com with sufficient detail for us to identify the request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will respond within the time required by law.
12Children
12.1Our website and services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
13Client project data
13.1When we process personal data on a client’s systems (for example inside custom software, a mobile app, or an automation we build), we typically act as a processor or service provider for that client. The client’s privacy notice and our written contract govern that processing. We follow documented instructions, apply access controls, and do not use client production data for unrelated purposes.
14Automated decision-making
14.1We do not use personal information collected through this website to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Enquiry review and project qualification are carried out by our team.
15Changes to this policy
15.1We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acknowledgement of the revised policy.
